Your Future Is Our Business
TOPIC: (Updated Feb 2021)
The Digital Video Production topic for the 2021 NLC has now been modified so that it has a workable option for all FBLA members:
SKILLS: This event provides recognition to FBLA members who demonstrate the ability to create an effective video to present an idea to a specific audience.
Submission: Project (video) must be submitted online as a URL in Blue Panda.
Submission Deadline: February 26 by 11:59 pm PST. Conference registration is required for work to be judged. Missing the deadline or failure to register for the conference will forfeit competitor participation. Hint: Allow for plenty of time to upload your work.
FINALISTS: The top eight (8) individuals or teams with the highest prejudged score will participate in the presentation portion of this event. The presentation is designed to be an explanation of equipment used, software used, the development process, an overview of how copyright laws were addressed, and challenges experienced during the process. Competitors are responsible for bringing the video to show the judges.
TIMELINE:
JUDGING: Judges will use the rating sheets (prejudged, presentation) to score competitors. The panel of judges evaluating prejudged materials may not necessarily be the same panel evaluating the presentations. All decisions of the judges are final.
RATING SHEETS:
GUIDELINES: (It is highly recommended that competitors read all guidelines)
