registratration is easy--now online!
California chapters need to go to the national website online registration screen in order to register both student and professional members. An invoice will print at the conclusion of each registration session, which chapters should print and mail in--to the national office--with a check. An option is also available for credit card payment. Section dues of $25 are added in on the first invoice printed only. Download and print these simple instructions! California members pay $10 (unified state and national dues) through January 11 and $12 beginning January 12. (Check the State Dues Reporting Table (page 2 of linked document) for a complete breakdown.) New Professional Division memberships are signed up at the New Professional Membership Online Registration screen. Renewing Professional Division members go to the Professional Division Membership Renewals Online Registration screen. Professional members may also be registered by completing the California Professional Membership Application Form and mailing it to the State Program Coordinator.
watch out for these new "money received by" deadlines!
With our conversion to the national online membership registration system, it is critical that everyone understand that ALL DEADLINES INVOLVING MEMBERSHIPS ARE DATES BY WHICH MONEY MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE NATIONAL OFFICE . Applicable dates are as follows:
October 20--Money received deadline to meet one of the requirements for Gold Seal Chapter Award of Merit (Don't delay on this one! Payment online can even be made by credit card and then reimbursed by the chapter.)
January 11--Money received deadline for last day to pay dues for $10/person ($12 after this date)
February 1--Money received deadline to be eligible for section conference (competition)
March 1--Money received deadline to be eligible for state and national conference (competition)
March 1--Money received deadline for Professional Membership Dues to Nationals to be eligible for recognition. If you are submitting professional membership through California FBLA rather than using the National Online Membership Registration, the deadline to the state is February 23.
